Understanding Installer Labor Costs
We recognize that installers charge for their time, whether productive or not. However, CR Fence & Rail's responsibility is limited to providing complete, correct building materials. We are not responsible for installer labor costs, scheduling, or time management.
Installer "lost time" charges for issues discovered on installation day
Emergency site visit costs when problems could have been prevented
Rescheduling fees due to inadequate preparation
Labor costs related to poor planning or failure to follow preparation guidelines
Hourly or daily installer rates when work cannot be completed due to preventable issues
This entire Pre-Installation Preparation Guide exists specifically to prevent installer lost time situations. When the preparation steps outlined in this guide are followed:
The pattern we consistently see: Almost 100% of installer lost time claims occur when installers arrive at job sites having NOT opened any boxes or reviewed the product in advance. This is a preventable situation that does not constitute an emergency on CR Fence & Rail's part.
CR Fence & Rail will not provide any compensation, refund, or credit for installer labor costs, lost time, or scheduling issues that result from failure to follow the Pre-Installation Preparation Guide.
If an installer arrives unprepared and discovers issues on installation day:
There is no supervisor, manager, or company official who can override this policy. Our customer service team cannot authorize payment or credit for installer labor costs under any circumstances.
Alternative Resolution: If you disagree with this policy, your only option is to return the materials under our standard Return Policy.
